Your primary workplace will be our headquarters in Frederikshavn, where you will focus on attracting new customers as well as maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.

VMS Group specializes in a wide range of sales and service offerings. We perform advanced repair and maintenance of equipment such as diesel engines, turbochargers, gears, propellers, and thrusters for both the maritime sector and the offshore industry. Our customers include maritime industries, the offshore sector, power plants, and the wind energy sector.

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer contact and visits including:

    • Strengthening and developing existing customer relationships.

    • Attracting new customers and building strong partnerships.

  • Preparation of offers and quotations.

  • Market and customer research.

  • Generate additional sales and ensure high customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.

  • Participation in trade exhibitions and marketing activities.

  • 60 travel days per year.

  • Close collaboration with our marketing and service departments to ensure an effective implementation of sales strategies and optimize the customer experience.

We imagine that you:

  • Are a strong communicator with the ability to build trust and strong relationships through active listening and understanding of customer needs. A technical background in the maritime industry is an advantage, but the most important quality is your ability to collaborate and create value through relationships.

  • Have experience working with customers at various organizational levels and thrive in international markets where cultural understanding and a global outlook are beneficial.

  • Enjoy taking responsibility and possess an “entrepreneurial spirit” that motivates you to drive the sales process forward, even in challenging markets.

  • Have solid English skills, both spoken and written.

  • Have a natural ability to read people, understand their needs, and adjust your approach to build successful collaborations.

  • Are results-oriented and passionate about sales.
